Nyanza leads in drug abuse, says Nacada

THE National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse says Nyanza region is the leading market for drugs in the country. Nacada programmes coordinator in the region Adrian Njenga said bhang whose biggest market previously was Nairobi, Central and Mombasa - has infiltrated Nyanza. Njenga said Nyanza was previously used a transit zone. He said the bhang comes from Isebania. “We have established that Nyanza has created a new market for drugs.
