Kenya Commercial Bank has bought two soya beans processors worth Sh1.5 million for farmers in Vihiga and Kakamega counties. The processors will be based at Mbale in Vihiga and Lurambi in Kakamega counties for use by farmers. A director of the bank Grace Akumu, who commissioned the project at Rural Outreach Programme Africa office at Mbale town on Wednesday, said the machines will increase food supply in Western Kenya and boost income for farmers.
